The Senior Producer is responsible for working within our Digital Marketing team to implement and execute high quality digital marketing activations in support of the HBO brand.
This role includes special focus on User Acquisition/Lead Generation and CRM activations leveraging data-driven marketing tools and tactics. Examples include production of email marketing campaigns in support of HBO streaming platforms and programming, publishing of promotional materials across various digital storefronts (including Apple’s App Store, Google Apps, Amazon.com, etc), end-to-end support of multivariate testing lifecycles across a finite number of marketing touchpoints, and working with various stakeholders for the ongoing project management of data analytics implementation across the HBO website ecosystem.
A key leadership position within HBO’s Digital and Social Media team, this role reports to the Vice President of Digital Production. The ideal candidate is a stellar leader with a proven ability to motivate numerous direct reports across multiple projects simultaneously. They are equal parts right and left-brain, able to lead creative teams through ideation while simultaneously ensuring that a project delivers on time and on budget. They are deeply passionate about the digital medium and its intersection with media and content.
Produce and deliver on HBO User Acquisition/Lead Generation and CRM activations by:
Working cross functionally within our team to deliver/project manage integrated multi-platform lead generation and user retention campaigns, with special focus on email communication, push/in-app messaging and custom landing page experiences
Partnering with our CRM & Retention team to nurture existing campaigns by utilizing existing consumer data points, as well as working to expand data collection opportunities across the full HBO Digital landscape
Overseeing a team of Producers and Associate Producers in the day-to-day digital marketing initiatives of the brand
Adhering to the highest level of quality assurance standards including 100% publication accuracy
Leading multi-disciplinary teams in the development of complex interactive digital experiences from concept through launch and maintenance
Leading project-level business development needs including contract negotiations and vendor assessments
Assisting the Director of Digital Production in project-level resource assignments and planning (incl. timelines, as well as staffing and budget)
Taking a lead role in one-on-one Producer management
Ensuring all factors that govern project success deliver within time, cost and quality parameters and managing and communicating risk throughout the process
And, in general, collaborate with our HBO Digital Editorial and Design teams, HBO Social Media and various other stakeholders to guarantee project success.
A fluent understanding of web-based marketing best practices and comprehensive ability to project manage from-scratch microsite builds are a critical part of success in this role. Candidate should have firm understanding of the technology powering today's interactive experiences and the processes that generate them (incl. website hosting solutions such as Amazon Web Services/Savvis/Akamai, various CDN's, Email Service Providers, Marketing Automation Platforms, Data Management Platforms, project management tools such as JIRA/Basecamp/Asana/Google Drive/etc, Agile-based project management, etc etc).
Other requirements as follows:
Excellent project management skills, preferably with a background in Agile. Experienced at publishing high quality direct marketing activations with at least 6 years relevant (i.e. media rich) interactive experiences. Mobile and tablet development and production a must.

Proven ability to publish and manage content in Content Management System(s).
Proven ability to meet deadlines and to deliver to budget.
