| || Duties: Duties: The SVP is a highly visible role responsible for overseeing advertising inventory and the revenue management strategy for Turner's portfolio of networks. The incumbent will manage Turner's ad assets and client investments. The SVP will work with key stakeholders across Turner including but not limited to Sales Management, Finance, Revenue Operations, Integrated Marketing, Site General Managers and Research to manage, lead and develop strategy for the monetization of Turner's media properties. The Senior Vice President reports to the EVP, Ad Sales Strategy & Yield Management.Responsibilities: - Ensure Turner's opportunities for monetization are maximized across all digital properties - Lead ad inventory forecasting and inventory taxonomy management - Oversight of campaign stewardship as it relates to pricing and availability - Management of Turner-wide Ad Sales rate cards - Own the driving of all programmatic revenue across digital and linear properties - Work with our analytics team to build, maintain and optimize the infrastructure comprised of sales analytics, inventory analytics & programmatic analytics - work closely with research to Identify and analyze the impact of market trends, identify and implement new opportunities to drive profitability, mitigate business risks, and quantitative decision making across various teams - Develop quantitative models to drive periodic forecasts as well as the annual revenue budget cycle - Play an active and collaborative role in the conception, development, rollout and optimization of new ad products - Partner with Sales management to develop ad strategies within new content distribution channels (TV-VOD, OTT, etc.) - Understand the unique aspects of both the linear and digital marketplace for advertising and maintain deep involvement and familiarity with the technology landscape and the specific systems utilized to support the workflow for both linear and digital advertising sales - Keep team and other departments educated on the evolving marketplace and trends|
Qualifications: Qualifications: - 15 + years management experience - 10+ years' experience in media advertising/marketing w/ 3+ years' experience in digital advertising- Deep knowledge of video ad serving, viewability, marketing efficacy, current digital marketplace, website dynamics, programmatic advertising and audience targeting - Expertise in yield management - Strong analytical/problem solving abilities (financial modeling & product development) - Understand strategy development that considers business ramifications - Ability to thrive in fast paced & dynamic environment, while executing in an orderly way - Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration and interpersonal skills - Recognized as a strategic and technical operating leader - Expert knowledge of the key technical specialty areas preferred: - Big-data capabilities and solutions - Analysis of consumer, product, web traffic, advertising, social media and sentiment data - Analysis of business performance data (including finance and human resource data) - Methodology around new technology vendor evaluations - Leverages expert knowledge to anticipate a wide range of future needs and opportunities and facilitates development of complex solutions o Converts expert level technology trends and issues into meaningful, understandable business issues that are actionableTurner Broadcasting System, Inc. and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers and E-Verify users.
